Did my first (and almost certainly only) podcast yesterday with Diane Byrne's Megayachtnews.com.
Diane explained that this will also be available on iTunes. I don't expect this to fly off the digital shelves but will surreptitiously load it onto my kids' iPods.
We talked about what was memorable about particular projects and agreed that just being able to travel and visit different yards around the world was in itself a great experience. It made us think in the studio about the food we have had at yards far and wide. As you'd expect we eat well in Italy (not least in the Benetti canteen); we're toughing up on eel and milk in Holland (except for conscientious objector Rowell) and have fond memories of the shish kebabs at Dunya in Turkey. Nobody has matched the grits and catfish truck which used to drive into the yard at Trinity's set-up in Gulfport. The Metrica installation team were clearly missing home food. They stuck up a picture on the doors to the Dining Saloon to make them feel better...
