I read about the new incarnation of the Riva Aquarama by Marc Newson in How To Spend It. Fabulous. An intelligent take on the classic, and much-loved, mahogany original. Really smart use of materials and textures - not least the matt aluminium (non) brightwork. I guess at its best gliding around Lake Como but very distinguished anywhere. Now thinking of Owners to persuade.....
