On Friday 22 October, Pacific's Owners smashed a bottle of champagne over a windlass on the foredeck and formally took delivery of her. Although she will remain at Lurssen's facility in Lemwerder for a couple more weeks, it marked the end of four intense years, during which Josi became Pacific, Bannenberg Designs became Bannenberg & Rowell and Lurssen remained Lurssen. Well, some things in life need to stay constant.
Her interior, as her name suggests, covers a voyage around the Pacific rim, pulling in influences from Polynesia, Japan, South America, North West USA and much more besides.
