LUNCH AT MANOIR AUX QUAT' SAISONS
Friday, May 06, 2011
OK. There's no reason why you particularly need (or want) to know that I had a nice lunch at The Manoir this week. But, after being remiss in keeping our blog up to date for a month or two, I thought this was a gentle way to pick up the pieces. It is also satisfying, as while the studio ate BLTs, packets of cheese and onion crisps and Diet Coke, I tackled Risotto de Petits Pois, Epaule et Cuisse D'Agneau Roties and Marquise au Chocolat Macae.
I was there at the kind invitation of the Symm team, who were able to show their construction expertise by hosting a lunch in the very building they had fashioned at the Manoir. A beautiful English spring day, a tour round M Blanc's vegetable garden ( that makes it sound a bit prosaic ) and a wonderful lunch.
No more lengthy Blog gaps now, and Mr Rowell is poised to write something as well...
